I have been a patron of World Animal Day for many years now, previously supporting them at events around the country.
World Animal Day is part of Nature Watch Foundation, a wonderful charity who are dedicated to the advancement of animal welfare. They support causes such as banning animal testing and puppy farming as well as they wonderful once a year ‘World Animal Day’ which has gone worldwide now.
Chris Packham is one of their top supporters and was delighted to be supporting WORLD ANIMAL DAY 2015
World Animal Day invites charities and individuals around the world to host events around the 4th of October simply to help animals. It can be for any charity or cause you wish, but you can list your event on World Animal Day, drawing attention to the world wide movement to help animals.
World Animal Day is taking the world by storm and is spreading out now globally across Africa, Europe and the USA.
Green World TV was invited to create the Official World Animal Day Film and in the spirit of things, we decided to keep it fun, upbeat but with an underlying serious message.
The film stars volunteers from protests across the UK. I decided to ask people to join in who truly care about animals, live and breathe them. Every person who took part in this film spends countless hours volunteering for animal causes in one way or form.
The music ‘What does the Fox Say’ was donated by my good friends, Scandinavian band ‘Skylines in Motion’ and filmed by Chiswell Studio’s Michael Dias who works alongside Brian May and Save Me on many badger and animal campaigns.
The story starts with wildlife enthusiast ‘me’ of course falling asleep in a park dreaming of animals….what happens next…well you will need to click on the film to find out. It does include some animals escaping from a zoo and the liberation of a beagle from a science lab
The World Animal Day Film was publicised in many papers including The Metro
